Brisbane is, you'll note, hung up on the idea perfect romantic date on a special occasion. He's got this idea that everything needs to go right for their relationship to move forward. That's going to cause problems for them in the near future.
They could've just stayed home and spent time together on any day of the week, instead of just staying home and spending time separately. - Terrence
