I had written a comic where the President told Robert that he couldn't bring anything that needed fixing, or even bring in his tools. It involved some logic that tried to be circular, but wound up just being mediocre logic. It didn't work. I should have had Robert say something like "You're 90 degrees short of circular logic there". But if you look at the lounge guys' actual motivations, I think casserole is much more in character - Terrence

Yeah, looking at that joke in the first panel it's no wonder that Brisbane is a failed comedian. You can tell that Robert and David are his friends because they just leave it there and pretend he said something reasonable.

I'm assuming that the Lounge Guys took the casserole over to the President's apartment. Or maybe just a few chairs they had set up in the hallway. - Terrence
