It's true. If it were a club, they'd make a banner and elect leaders. I'm reminded, peripherally, of the typical "fan club" you see in manga/anime, like the Prince Yuki fan club in Fruits Basket or Lum's Stormtroopers in Urusei Yatsura. These guys are actually a step up from that (yes, I think this is the first time we've said they're a step up from anything). The stereotypical fan club member seems to do his best to avoid knowing anything about their object of affection. The only function of the anime-style "fan club" , appears to be making sure junior members don't ever interact with their object of desire, which makes me wonder why anybody who were actually interested would join - Terrence

So, why does he have 50 cans of corn? How long has he had 50 cans of corn? Does canned corn go bad or is it just slightly worse after the date on the can? - Terrence
