Original Commentary

Were two versions of the memos sent out? It wasn't explicitly stated before but it fits what's gone on so far. Ok, so it's a revision. It's a necessary one, though. It explains why Ms. Taylor is so upset - not just at her previous memos being edited without her knowledge but at the fact that there were two contradictory versions sent out. One was angry and slightly incoherent. The other was obviously in the middle of being edited, with a decent number of sentences that make no sense whatsoever. Ms. Taylor didn't look them over or notice that her three pages turned into seven. It makes Brisbane's task more difficult and plays into two or three of the plots that are still developing - Terrence

Modern Commentary
So here it is 24 years later. Microsoft Outlook has a built-in email recall function that doesn't work if the email was read and runs client-side. Which means you can't recall emails sent to folks using webmail or reading mail on their phones... - Terrence
