Despite her self-centeredness, Sofia really does care for Brisbane... I'm sure she's doing her best to show it (which is a lot to ask from someone like her).

I'm sure Brisbane's family isn't messed up to anyone who looks on it from the outside - successful family, beautiful people... who can't stand to talk with anyone different from themselves, including their own children. Oh yeah, there's normal for you. At least the Taylors communicate (although half of it is screaming, I must admit). The YSIF cast is probably equally as messed up as the ND cast. Sofia ended up being central to a lot of relationships. If someone doesn't have a reason to talk to Brisbane or Kimberly, they probably ended up hanging out with Sofia. - Terrence
