Original Commentary
The "new computer" is significantly less powerful than their current one. It reminds me of a place I used to work for, where they'd give obsolete computers to a company that'd re-sell them at inflated prices to people who didn't know how to get a proper computer. If they got a computer that was recent, they'd wait a few years for it to become obsolete, then give it away. Man, am I glad I'm not working there - Terrence
Modern Commentary
So, back in the mid 2000s - and moreso, the 1990s which were in recent memory - there were leaps and bounds being made in computer performance. A 2002 computer would be a serious step down from a 2007 computer.
