Original Commentary
I just love how sweet and yet so strange this comic is... I really get the feeling Kimberly is a daddy's girl. I don't even think I asked Terrence if she was- I just wrote it that way. Or maybe we did talk about it... but then again, for the longest time, Terrence and I were divided on Kimberly's past... there are parts of it that we still don't agree on (such as past boyfriends and the like). -Isabel
Modern Commentary
Speed dial! That's the precursor to your smartphones' contacts. You could assign a person's number to an unlabelled slot instead of manually dialing. You'd have, like, up to ten slots as I recall it.
Having a name attached to it is an improvement, as is having virtually unlimited space for contacts. But back then, you'd remember peoples' phone numbers. And giving someone a spot on your speed-dial list meant something; nowadays I've got a contact list that's half full of people I'll probably never call.
