Original Commentary
I've got a big list of things I'd like to work into the comic some day. And what actually winds up there? "Do the crusher". I don't expect anybody to get the reference. C'mon, you turkey necks
Modern Commentary
So, that's from "The Crusher", a wrestling-related novelty song by The Novas. It's obliquely mentioned in the book's commentary because, well, can't link a video in a book. It's...kinda obscure. The Crusher himself is barely remembered these days; I think I've heard of him but it might have been one of the many other Crushers. It's funny what makes it into the comic.
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm assuming that The Crusher (as in "Do the Crusher") is The Crusher (the wrestler)'s finishing move.
Not sure what I had in mind for June 17, 1852. It was probably a random date. I can't imagine what question that guy thinks they're asking and that's probably the wrong answer.
