Modern Commentary
Isabel wrote the initial storyline, showed it to me, and I decided I wanted to write a chapter then and there. With brand new characters! My influences definitely included Living Game and Maison Ikkoku there.
Also, didn't Brisbane mention a couch back in the first chapter? We haven't seen a couch. Maybe a slightly large armchair. Definitely too small to lay down on, even if you curl up tight like a hedgehog.
Did I mention that Brisbane is a hedgehog? He is. It's just the spikes and roundness and pointy nose don't really work for him, so we understand if it's not everyone's first guess. - Terrence
