The background to this is probably that Brisbane saw a documentary about these kind of ornate eggs and was very enthusiastic about it for the last week. It's practically all he's been talking about.
Meanwhile, Kimberly had a lot of free time at work and figured that if she could make him happy for the price of a few eggs, some wax, and food dye...

Of course, for Brisbane it's not about having the egg or eating the egg. It's about the idea of creating the art.
