Monday, September 19th 2005 - [406]Kimberly's bad week (31 of 36)
Kimberly
Brent
Brisbane

Original Commentary
Originally, in the second panel, Brisbane said "If we got pet food, the landlord would know we have him." That is true. However, Kimberly's response doesn't make any sense whatsoever in that context. I considered declaring that it was a national holiday or that the buses didn't run that day so that they couldn't just go to a convenience store and buy pet food. But that seems a bit much. No point using a sledgehammer to drive a plot. And yes, Brisbane is waving his hand like that because he just got bitten. This comic follows Friday's, chronologically. Sunday's comic is an intermission - Terrence

Modern Commentary
Neither Brisbane nor Kimberly have had a real pet. They have no idea what they're doing.

Now, brants have theoretically survived in the wild for millions of years so it shouldn't be that difficult for this particular one to sort itself out.

You can see this in panel 3...- Terrence
