Poor Brisbane, thinking Kimberly wanting him for his hot bod. XD I was thinking of having her laugh in the first panel, but thought against, as the moment was a bit more serious than that- although it was rather tempting.

Brisbane, mature or not, has always been known for his knack of overanalyzing a situation and assuming the worst of the women around him. Now we know just why, and of Kimberly's redeeming qualities.

Modern Commentary
There are a lot of great things about working with Isabel. One of them is how she pulled Brisbane and Kimberly's past together and made this a pivot for how Brisbane sees Kimberly.

It all comes together.
